Rebecca and Hildegard return to their original "unplugged" format as a vocal/piano duo for their concert series, Songs for all Seasons, which began in July, 2016 with Songs for Summer Nights and will be continued with this concert of autumn songs. The programs that Rebecca sings with the swing pianist Hildegard Pohl and her trio are an energetic mixture of opera/classical music with jazz/musical standards. Their most frequently performed program, „Swing Goes to the Opera,“ is received enthusiastically for its seamless flow between the genres and for its light-heartedness.
Rebecca and Hildegard started their collaboration with a duo-program called „Broadway Babies.“ With the Hildegard Pohl Trio, which also includes Yogo Pausch (drums) and Norbert-Meyer-Venus (bass), they developed the program for „Swing Goes to the Opera,“ which they have now performed many times for enthusiastic audiences.
